Frost Family Faces

We stayed at a camp ground that had full RV hook-ups close to tent sights so we could all bring what we wanted, whether tents or campers and still be all together.

 The kids played on this propane tank constantly.  It was so much fun for them!


 Of course no camping experience would be complete without a campfire.  Ethan loved that part.


And of course, there was Bear Lake!  The weather disappointed me this year.  For a year where everyone was saying the summer was going to be hot and dry, it sure was cold and rainy that weekend.
My family got up there on Thursday and we were able to spend a few hours at the lake.  That day was beautiful and warm and wonderful.

The next day, it took a turn for the worst.  The kids and some brave adults still made the most of it, but it was cold!







Around lunch time, the wind got stronger and it started to pour rain, so we literally threw everything into the cars/vans and went back to the campsite.

Saturday rained all morning and into the early afternoon.  After lunch it stopped raining for a few hours and mom took us on a tour around St. Charles to see all the relatives' homes or land they were raised on.  Some homes were still there in their original splendor.  That was really cool to see.  The last stop was to the cemetery.  The St. Charles cemetery is made up of many of mom's ancestors!

 I think this is where I want to be buried.  I'd love to wake up to that view on the morning of the 1st Resurrection!

Alayna loved to crawl around on the grass.  I'm so glad this campground was all grass!  She found a bubble wand.  

It's been a whole year!  It's gone by so fast!  I sure love this sweet baby.  It was a very sad birthday though. On Friday she started getting a fever.  I took her to instacare to see if she had and ear infection.  She didn't but she did have a temperature of 103!  Poor baby!  We kept her on Motrin and tylenol for the next 3 days before it finally came down.  So, poor baby was sick on her birthday!

Grandma and Grandpa Frost came over and gave her a birthday present!

 She got her hand in some frosting and didn't really know what to do with it...



She didn't even touch her cake.  She just wasn't feeling good at all.  Poor baby girl!
We love you Alayna!  You already have a fun personality coming out.  She's not shy about telling us when she does or doesn't want something!  She's so sweet and loves her siblings so much.  I just love this sweet girl!

 We had some shopping to do on Monday July 6th, and wanted to have a picnic at the park because the weather was beautiful and cool.  We were going to get pizza, but after seeing that the line was at least a half hour wait, Charles ran into Smith's and got some chicken and a veggie tray and some other stuff.  Alayna got a hold of one of the pieces of chicken and went to town on it!  She loved it!




The next Saturday, on Alayana's Birthday, Ella lost one of her front teeth.  Grandpa Frost helped it come out...then the next day on Sunday, the other one was really loose.  She got some string and wrapped it around her tooth like Grandpa did, but couldn't get it out.  I went over, yanked twice and out it came!  Now she wants two front teeth for Christmas!
