Ella...

Ella has had this funny infatuation with trying on my shoes lately. I love it because she'll then walk around the house with them on, most of the time tripping. But it was just too cute to pass up taking some pictures, so here are some funny pictures of Ella and shoes (and one of her sleeping, because it's cute!)

Sorry it's a little blurry, but I love her cheesy smiles. She's wearing my running shoes...

and in this she's wearing my church shoes. Her entire foot almost comes out the front on these. The only thing keeping her foot from coming all the way out is the attachment of her foot to her leg.

and I love this one. she's using her doll as a pillow. Soooooo sweet!

Five Years

I can't believe it's been five years! I love Charles more today than I did when I married him. I always remember my wedding day, more than any other time, on my anniversary. It was a fun day. I was princess for a day, but more importantly, Charles has treated my like a Queen ever since since. He is so wonderful and patient with me. The best decision I ever made, was to marry him.
Happy Anniversary! I love you Charles.

Now for a walk down Memory Lane...

Coming out of the temple...

just some pictures on the temple grounds

This one if my favorite of both of us together

Looking forward...into eternity!

Blue and Gold Banquet

Here are some pictures of the Blue and Gold banquet. I wish I could take creative responsibility for the center pieces, but I can't, I got the idea off of the Rachael Ray website. They were sure fun to make though! And...the dinner was a huge success. The kids couldn't leave the center pieces alone, which I consider a good thing since they were made for the kids!
We had typical scout food, hotdogs, chips and salad, then a huge cake and Ice cream for desert. Very big success and my feet hurt very much by the time I got home, but it was sure fun!!

The airplanes are quarter of a sheet of cardstock, taped onto floral wire...

Then I stuck it into some floral foam, filled the vases with goldfish...

Sprinkled some chocolate gold coins on top and tied it all together with blue ribbon... TA DA!
The place mats are fun scout facts, and the "cloth" underneath the centerpiece is a yellow napkin.

And Charles and I got our adult On My Honor awards. This was scout Sunday, so we wore our uniforms to church.
