Happy Easter everyone! We sure had a fun day. It was by no means a quiet Easter, but it was sure fun! We started out our Easter day with by going to church (of course) and having a wonderful Fast and Testimony Meeting (yes, we had fast Sunday) Then, we went home and had a turkey dinner for lunch (After naps. We have 9 am church). No it didn't have all the trimmings, but it was sure a good turkey. The rest of they day will be described by pictures and captions. Having fun scrolling, there are A LOT of pictures.
Ethan and Ella before church in their cute Easter outfits. Ella got a new dress, but I had a very hard time finding anything cute for Ethan, so we mixed and matched with things he already had and just bought him new church shoes, which, incidentally, you can't see, but they're sure snazzy.
After dinner, we went to Grandma Gough's house and had a family home evening lesson, and then of course, an Easter egg hunt. This is Ethan with his find.
Here is Ella at her first attempt at an Easter Egg hunt. As you can see, she got the idea. Daddy was her mobility
Here's one of her finds. She loved grabbing them, and sucking on them, and better yet, they rattle!
All the grandkids. This was the best shot we got. Most of the kids wouldn't sit still long enough. Yes, if you look closely, Elora has a pumpkin as her Easter Basket.
And then the big boys had their Easter Egg hunt. We started this tradition last year. I think it's a fun, one and one we will continue. The "sister-en" hide the eggs for the boys. We actually do a really good job.
Ahhh....Daddy on the hunt
Grandma is holding Ella and Jaci. Ella and Jaci are six weeks apart.
Ella sure had fun with Daddy's find. She loved smashing the eggs together. I'm sure glad we hardboil Easter Eggs. This would have been very messy otherwise.

The boys enjoying their finds.
Ella discovered that the eggs can be peeled. She meticulously peeled, and then ate the shells. I hope I got most of them out if not, I'm sure I'll get them soon enough.

Then, Jason ran in the house and brought out swords. (Plastic pipe, wrapped with Styrofoam and duct tape) and all the brothers had a gigantic sword fight. Dan got a black eye. Here are Dustin and Daniel dueling. After the boys had done it for a while, the girls did it. We mostly ended up rolling on the grass laughing so hard.
Like I said, we had a fun Easter!
