School Christmas programs and parties!

Ethan had his first program at school and I didn't get a single good picture of it! I tried, but couldn't get close enough with all the other parents taking their own pictures. Suffice to say, Ethan was adorable and did such a good job singing "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer", actions included! I caught him in his class right after and took his picture. He kept his "reindeer antlers" on the rest of the day.

After I picked Ethan up from the bus, we took Ella to preschool and her own little party. And Santa came!

Her teacher had just told all the kids to sit down, and so they're all turning and heading to their spots!

When it was Ella's turn, she ran up and jumped up on his lap and proceeded to tell him what she wanted (none of which anyone could understand) and was so happy to get her present!

Ethan wanted to go sit on Santa's lap so bad! He did a really good job being patient!

He finally got his chance and asked Santa for another Horton movie. (He loves "Horton Hears a Who", but ours got scratched, so he really wants a new one for Christmas).

And a very quick picture with all three kids. Pretty good for only having about 2 seconds to take it!

Ariana 11 months!

I had a startling realization a couple weeks ago that Ariana will be one year old next month! Where has the time gone! This year has gone by so fast!

Ariana is a very happy baby, but she's also got some fight in her. She has a grip of steel! Twice now, I've gone to the store and have given her some of the merchandise to placate her...and she won't give it up to anyone! So, the cashier has to take her portable scanner and scan it in her hand. She'll let her brother and sister know when she's had enough, and that they had better not take her toy!

She loves her mommy! and I love that she loves me so much!

She's a sweet baby and I'm so happy we have her as part of our family!

I made enchiladas...and she loved them! Then rubbed the sauce all over her face, and into her eye. I took this picture, then took her straight upstairs for a bath to to rinse the sauce out of her eye.

A little about her eating habits. She still refuses to eat any fruits or vegetables. But she'll eat pretty much any main course I give her (especially noodles and especially anything with an Alfredo type sauce). She's basically done nursing...I usually nurse her before bed, but that's it. She'll drink formula from a cup, (no bottle, no sippy cup, just a regular cup) but will certainly tell you when she's done! She's a funny kid!

Lights at Temple Square

Cynthia had to go nurse Lydia, and I'm taking the picture, but there's the whole crew!

We went to Temple Square to see the Christmas Lights with Travis and his family. It was cold, but fun! It was an interesting night. We had planned on being up there by about 6, but Charles and I needed to stop in Sugar House to pick up a Christmas gift that took a long time to fit into the van, in the process of trying to reload the jogging stroller...the canopy snapped, becuase it took us so long to get up to Temple square, and becuase every single young men's, and young women's, decided to have mutual that night, and every high school and middle school decided they needed to sing in the visitor's center that night...trying to find parking was a nightmare! We thought going on a Tuesday night would mean less people...wrong! So many people! Oh well...we had fun anyway...Enjoy the pictures!

Cute kids! Elora, Max and Ethan (Ella and Ariana are in the stroller)

Getting warm at the South visitor's center!

The whole family! (except Charles, who's taking the picture)

Yeah! Ella!

Ella, Ethan and Elora (Max was too shy to be in the picture) on the steps of the temple!

One of these times, when we visit Temple square, it will be more of a relaxing experience...maybe that'll happen next year :)

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving this year was with the Frost's. Anita hosted this year in her basement apartment (she lives with Mindy, so her basement apartment magically expanded by opening the doors into the playroom) It was lots of fun, and there was tons of food...of course...

The Magic apartment! Open the doors and there's a whole extra room! Who knew!

Grandpa Frost and Uncle Leo saving their energy for the big feast!

Cheese!

Marissa and Ella had their own cool little girl's table...since they're the only little girls there...

And where is Ethan in all these pictures?...upstairs playing with his cousins...and his cousin's toys...

Grandpa snuggling with Ariana...or vice versa...

ahhh! The feast! It was super good!

Charles very much enjoyed his feast!

We stayed and talked for a little while, then we all went home...Thanks Anita for hosting! It was great...

Then...at 9:30, I left to go Black Friday shopping with Jenny Broadhead and her sisters, and didn't get home until...wait for it...4 am! I don't remember much of Friday, seeing as I slept most of it. It was a great Thanksgiving!

Just some fun pictures!

These are just some random pictures that have been taken over the course of the month...

Ariana is pulling herself up to everything...this day she discovered the kitchen cabinets. Luckily, they have child locks on them so she can't open them...

Pretty girl Ella! Getting ready to go to church!

Mush!
These are just funny. Ariana had been playing with the vacuum cord and put it over her head, then tried to crawl away. She started to take the vacuum with her. I couldn't help but saying "yah Ariana! Pull baby!" as I took the picture, then quickly jumped up before the vacuum fell.

Fall Leaves

It was a semi-warm day last Monday, so I took the kids to our church parking lot to ride bikes. That lasted about 5 min.
Then they discovered the leaves and spent the next 45 min. playing in them...

Aunt Becky's Wedding...FINALLY!!!

11:53 AM Edit This 0 Comments »
Becky, Charles' 2nd oldest sister got married on Saturday the 12th. It was a chilly, windy day, which is why there are no pictures at the temple, but here are some fun pictures from the reception...

These amazing dresses were made by Mindy, Charles' sister. All I can say is WOW!
(and my girls looked stinkin' cute in then too!

Cheese!

Ariana didn't like the dress much, she couldn't crawl or anything...

This is the best I got here...Ariana was DONE!

Ariana and Marissa were slightly happier to be held...

EWWWWW! (Ethan is the kid facing the camera...)

The Cake...

Ella was so "Princessy" this night...

Charles was supposed to be supervising the gift taking, but he usually could be found talking to old friends that came through...

The bridesmaids...

Lisa taking a picture of me taking a picture of her taking a picture...

Ethan disappeared for a while, and when I found him, he was in the kitchen, washing cups...

And having a lot of fun!

I seriously wished I could have done this...Just bowed my head a took a little nap, like Grandma Lane...

Cutting the cake!

Matt got a head start on her...

But Becky got her revenge...

Throwing the bouquet...

Ella followed Becky around and "helped" her with her train...

Becky and Ariana!

Charles and Jessie...

Jessie and Ella...

It was a fun night...but everyone is glad its over! After the cleanup...we didn't leave the church until 11:30, and Charles and I didn't get to bed until 1 am! I think Mom Frost is still recuperating, and It's been almost a week :0)

You may notice that there are no pictures with families...there wasn't time. Just for histories' sake, I was wearing a beautiful new skirt that Mindy made for me.

We're very happy for you Becky and Matt! Good luck on your new life!
