Memorial Day Weekend, my brother Travis came down to St. George with his family for some R&R. I think out of everyone, Travis enjoyed the pool the most, and the kids looooved the entertainment...
Ta Daaa!

Travis trying to do some back flips in the pool. Nice tush bro.

The kids thought it was pretty funny...

At this point, he was stomping around singing "Singin' in the Rain"...

I did get a video of all this, but it's too big for the blog, but if you check out my facebook page, you'll be able to see it.

It was a fun weekend. Never a dull moment!

Ella's 3!!

I can't believe my baby is 3! She's such a wonderful, beautiful, fun little girl! She always keeps me on my toes! She has a spunky personality, and LOVES girly things, but has no problem riding bikes, playing in the dirt, and playing ball with the boys. When I get her dressed up on Sundays, she'll look at herself in her pretty church dress and say "I'm a Princess!" and she is! She's my princess! She's very loving to her little sister, and loves to be with Ethan. She asks where Ethan is whenever she can't find him! I love this little bedlamite!!

Her birthday fell on a Sunday, the day after my Lieto! concert so I wasn't prepared. I had plenty of cake mixes, but no powdered sugar for frosting. So, I baked a cake and we sang happy birthday to her with candles, and ate the cake. She didn't know what she was missing! She's only 3! She was mostly excited for the candles.

The next day, on Monday, (after I bought powdered sugar) I invited her friends and cousins to the park to play. I made cupcakes and we sang to her again.

Here's my sweet girl in one of my favorite outfits!

Getting ready to sing happy birthday!

Yummy cupcakes!!

Love this picture of Emma, look at those blue eyes!

The party lasted so long that I had Charles run and get a bunch of Pizzas for dinner and we all just hung out played and talked and had a lot of fun!

A couple weeks later, Grandma and Grandpa Frost came down and brought some gifts for Ella! She was so excited to open them!

Yeah! Food! She loved it!

and one more...

A new set of dishes! These are soooo cute!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for some great presents! Ella plays with them everyday, and it's a hit with the neighborhood kids too!

Happy Birthday my sweet Ella!

Spring Lieto! Concert 2011

We had our final Lieto! concert of the season at the O.C.Tanner Amphitheater in Zion's National Park. What an amazing place! Beautiful scenery and some great music, (provided by Lieto!). We were invited to do the concert as part of the Dixie College Spring Concert Series. The weather was beautiful and it was such a wonderful experience.

The theme was Americana! So we did a lot of show tunes, and American based music.

We started with the men singing "Seize the Day".

It sounded AMAZING!!

Then we went to the "meat" of the program which was 30 minutes of Cole Porter! It was so much fun!

Group #1

Group #2

And Group #3
And our Awesome percussion section!

What are we all smiling at you wonder...?

Lauretta singing her solo "I've Got You Under My Skin!"

and It's "Too Darn HOT!!" with Mark and Rachel dancing up a storm!

JAZZ HANDS!!! WAHOOO!!!

I think I channeled Gizelle from "Enchanted" right here... I was waiting for some birds to land on my shoulder and a couple of squirrels to come running right up to me

Let's Fall in Love!

Yeah Christin! Anything Goes!!

Second half...Men's number "When I Fall in Love" . It was absolutely wonderful.
The women had a couple of numbers too, but none of the pictures taken were very good.

And the last 4 songs of the evening, Charles (who was taking the pictures) had to go take care of a VERY cranky baby. So he didn't get any except...

...this one. We sang a lot of patriotic numbers at the end.

The concert was amazing and there was a lot of hard work put into it. It was so much fun to do too! I didn't put pictures of all the solos in because not all of them turned out very well, but we had some amazing soloists!

Ariana 4 Months

Ariana turned 4 months old in May (yeah, it's been a while since I posted, but now I'm trying to get caught up!)
She's such a fun, wonderful, calm, happy baby!

She weighed in at 16 lbs at her 4 month check up! I forget the length, but she's VERY healthy! I've got to get a picture of just her thighs one of these days! I love 'em!

She officially rolled over from her front to her back. She doesn't mind her tummy, so she doesn't roll very much, but when she does, it's soooo cute to watch! He head will start, she'll be twisted around like a pretzel, then her bum and legs will finally follow...SO CUTE!!

Here are some pictures of Ariana as a 4 month old!

I love this dress! It's the ultimate frilly, pink, fluffy-ness of dresses known to baby-kind! Everytime she wears it, the line from "Despicable Me" pops into my head "She's so FLUFFY I'm gonna DIE!! "She's so FLUFFY!!!"

She also loves to eat this dress...yummmy!

This is my happy baby! She's sooo happy!

"wrestling" with Ethan. Ethan would put his head under her head and she would just suck and chew to no end and Ethan would just lay there and giggle! So cute! Get 'im Ariana!

Hangin' out with Grandpa Frost!

I'm so in love with this baby! She's such a joy and her brother and sister adore her!

Ethan's Pee-Wee Baseball! 2011

10:53 AM Edit This 0 Comments »
This year was Ethan's first year playing Pee-Wee baseball. The most exciting part for him was pulling the grass in outfield and putting it on his head, and the treats at the end. He also had a lot of fun playing with the kids. Next year, we'll work on the baseball part of it.

This was his first game. It was FREEZING and raining!! They got through one inning then called it.

Cheese!

Hangin' out with his friend Jace!

The whole team!

They're all soooo cute!!
What a slugger!
