A Whirlwind trip!

The end of July saw us making a whirlwind trip up to Salt Lake to see Charles' parents. They had recently bought a new computer and Charles said he would install it for them. So, at 9:00 pm on Friday evening, we drove up to Salt Lake. Saturday evening, about 9:00, we left Salt Lake. It was fast, but a lot of fun. Here's what we did...
We made it up to Salt Lake about 1:30 am. The kids slept great, and went back to sleep great, and were up at the crack of dawn to see Grandma and Grandpa Frost. Anita found out we were coming, so the family decided to put together a BBQ so we could all visit. It was great to see everyone.
In the Frost's backyard, they are preparing to build a garage. They have the foundation dug, so there's dirt everywhere...and Ethan was in heaven...
He sat in the backyard and just threw dirt, and played in the dirt and dug and made a mess to his heart's content. It was a VERY good vacation for him.
Then we packed up the car, and headed over to my Aunt's house for a 24th of July BBQ that they hold annually for my Mom's side of the family. We stopped there for about an hour and visited and ate and let the kids play again...
It's a law at any Arnell family gathering that there MUST be a game of volleyball going.
Also a law at any Arnell family gathering...Rook!
And just sitting and visiting...
The kids had a great time jumping on the trampoline (oh, and throwing their shoes into the pit underneath. That was a treat getting them out)
and my cousin Scott is helping entertain the kids by bouncing them while they're all laying there.
It was a fast trip, but it was sure fun!
