Frost Family Faces

Good news!  Elizabeth's cardio doctors don't want to see her for 6 months!  Charles went with me to her last doctor's appointment, and took some pictures...


She's getting an ultrasound on her blood clot.  The status on that is that its still there, and it hasn't gotten any smaller.  After talking to her doctors about it, they think it will always be there.  They're not concerned about it becuase 1.  the artery it's in is one that heads down the leg, so if a piece ever broke off, or it became dislodged, it would just travel farther down the leg, not up into her lungs, heart and brain and 2. her collateral veins have taken over and are circulating blood just fine to the leg, so its growing and healthy.    

She's getting a cardiogram here.  (ultrasound on the heart)  Luckily she stayed asleep for all of it, until we had to shift angles to get her pulminaries... and the doctors are very happy with her progress.  As she gets older, the pulminaries get better, so they don't want so see her for 6 months! 

Elizabeth is our miracle baby.  We are so blessed to have her.  We are also blessed to be so near these wonderful doctors and techs and hospitals and so very blessed to have all this technology available to us!  We are just totally and completely in awe of how blessed we are!
