Kids Christmas Party!

Sunday night we had the cousins Christmas Party (for anyone interested, this made the 4th Christmas Party in one weekend!) Charity booked her clubhouse which had enough room for all. It was a Polar Express theme and was so cute!! The kids, and most of the adults came in their pajamas.
Charity started by reading some parts of the book.
When she got to the part where the train came, we all went up the stairs, got our tickets and got on to the train!!
The music from the movie soundtrack was playing during all this. All the kids are ready to go the the North Pole!!
Of course we had Hot Chocolate!
Ethan is sipping his. He LOVES hot chocolate!
Ella loves it too! Here is her Hot Chocolate mustache!
Then...who should come but SANTA CLAUSE to give the kids the first gift of Christmas!!
Ethan was in awe! He hasn't ever seen Santa before. Just on TV.
Ethan's bell! The first gift of Christmas!
We had to have quick trigger fingers on these pictures. Ethan and Ella only gave us split seconds to get their pictures with Santa.
And all the cousins with Santa! (and a few Uncles holding some kids down;)
Now we open presents! Each of the cousins draw names and get a dollar gift to give. Here are Ethan and Ella opening their presents. Ethan got a truck and Ella got a wand with a glittery streamer.
And Ella putting the streamer wand to good use.
Yeah, for anyone wanting to know, it hurt!
And she loved it! She wouldn't let it go all night and she kept twirling it and whipping it around. The kids gave her a wide berth the rest of the night. When she wasn't waving her wand, she was going up and down the stairs.
I was trying to hear the bell. It alternated from "sweet tones" to whispering "doubter, doubter doubter" depending on how I held it. (see the movie the Polar Express if you haven't a clue what I'm talking about here)
And everyone winding down and just enjoying the family. Ya think we've got a big fam or what? and two aren't here!

Oh I am laughing histarically at the picture of Ella hitting you. It is priceless.
